Cooking Basics II Baking! (Ages 7 and up!) (January 20...@ 6 p.m.)(PrepATL) This is the second class on cooking where we will talk the basics of baking.  How do you get a crispy cookie or a chewy cookie? These great mysteries and more will be answered! Work with local chefs in a professional kitchen to learn some kitchen basics with hands on demonstrations. (Coming in February, in honor of Valentine’s Day; the wonders of Chocolate!)

Gardening I (ages 7 and up!) (January 13...@noon) (Senior Connections Garden)

Is this the year you start your garden?  We are going to help you get ready for the spring with this class with an afternoon of learning about what makes a garden work and what you should be doing to get ready for that first spring day!  This class includes a February follow-up get together.

$30 per adult (kids under 16 and Life Cooperative Members free) Space is limited so go sign up fast!
